(Bonita) Apple Butter(-bum)

And if you let a long piece you’ve been writing hang out on your back burner for a few years, you’ll be surprised by how it comes out, in condensed form, scribbled by hand onto a postcard at a Philadelphia farmers’ market within a couple of minutes while sitting curbside in the sunshine.
